Since 2017, I've been working with multiple software engineering teams at Shutterfly to introduce Agile Scrum methodologies, champion modern development practices and build reliable, easy-to-use, web- and service-based manufacturing applications that will allow the company to grow revenue while reducing costs.
From 2013 through 2017, I built a strong team of developers focused on designing and developing the next generation in cash automation solutions. Our team grew from a group of four developers in North Carolina to nearly 50 in the U.S., Czech Republic, England and Italy with expertise in Java, C++, C#, PHP, AWS, MySQL, Jenkins and more.
Prior to this I designed, developed and launched hundreds of mobile products across multiple platforms for large media organizations. These products were used by more than 6 million people each month and generated more than 2 billion page views and 3 billion ad impressions annually.
I enjoy mentoring team members and helping them achieve their professional goals. There is nothing more satisfying than giving people the tools they need to step up to the next level in their career and then watching them really take off.
I am comfortable managing multiple projects in parallel with varying levels of priority while also communicating with many different stakeholders. I have experience in both agile and waterfall development methodologies.
I have served as a hiring manager responsible for small to large teams. I've also worked with Apple, Amazon and Google to publish hundreds of applications in each of their app stores.
I am at ease presenting to large audiences, executives and customers.
